Payments & refunds
Version 2, October 2026. Last reviewed 18 October 2026. Needs solicitor review.
- Who takes your payment. DRVX LTD, trading as DRVX Transport. Registered in England & Wales, company no. 17519121. Registered office: 13 Briscoe Walk, Middleton, Manchester M24 4LG. Contact: bookings@drvx.co.uk, 07543 933825. DRVX LTD acts as a booking agent: it takes your payment and pays the partner carrier that carries your job (see our transport terms).
- The price. The price on your quote is the total you pay DRVX for the job as described. No VAT is added while DRVX LTD is not VAT registered. If the job turns out to be different from the details you gave, the partner carrier may make an extra charge; we will tell you what it is and why first, and private customers will never be charged an extra payment they have not expressly agreed to.
- Card payments. Card payments are taken on a secure page run by Stripe, our payment provider. DRVX never sees or stores your full card number. We take the exact price on your quote. Nothing is added for paying by card, and we don’t charge a fee for any way of paying.
- When you pay. For a job with a DRVX price, you pay before we book the partner carrier. Private customers pay by card. Business customers pay by card or bank transfer, or by invoice if we have approved a credit account. For bank transfers, use the reference on your quote (for example DRVX-Q-0001). We book the partner carrier once the money arrives.
- If we can’t arrange your job. If no partner carrier can take it, or it cannot go ahead because of events outside our control, we refund you in full for anything not done.
- Cancelling: business customers. Tell us as soon as possible. Before we book a partner carrier: full refund. After a partner carrier has accepted the job: its cancellation charges apply, and we refund the rest.
- Cancelling: private customers. You can cancel within 14 days of accepting your quote, without giving a reason. (The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give this right for many services, but may not apply to transport booked for a specific date. DRVX gives you the right anyway, on these terms.) When you accept, you ask us to arrange the job within those 14 days. If you cancel before the job starts, we refund you in full, less a fair amount for what has already been done for your job, which may include a cancellation charge the partner carrier has already incurred; we will show you how it is worked out. If you cancel after it has started, you pay a fair amount for what has been done. Once the job is fully carried out, the right to cancel ends. To cancel, email bookings@drvx.co.uk or call 07543 933825 with your reference. You can use this wording: “I cancel my contract for transport, quote reference […], accepted on [date]. Name, address, date.”
- Refunds. We refund to the card or bank account you paid from, within 14 days of you telling us you are cancelling (or of agreeing the refund in any other case). We don’t charge a fee for refunds.
- Problems with a job. Tell us and the partner carrier straight away. Loss or damage claims are made under the partner carrier’s conditions of carriage (see our transport terms). Private customers keep all their legal rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Credit accounts. Approved business accounts are invoiced on 14 or 30-day terms. See our credit account terms.
- Complaints. Email bookings@drvx.co.uk. We aim to reply within 2 working days. If we cannot resolve a private customer’s complaint, we will send our final response in writing with the details of a certified alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider and whether we agree to use it.
