FAQ
Straight answers.
The questions we get most. Anything else, call 07543 933825 or email bookings@drvx.co.uk.
Who actually carries my goods?
One of our vetted partner carriers. They hold their own operator licence (for vehicles over 3.5 t) and goods-in-transit insurance. DRVX arranges the job as your booking agent and stays your point of contact.
How much will it cost?
For standard jobs (a small van up to a 44 t artic, within mainland Great Britain) you get an instant fixed price from our rate card: tap “Instant quote” in the chat, or use the quote form. Specialist or unusual jobs get a price confirmed by DRVX. Nothing is booked until you accept, and the vetted partner carrier invoices you at the price you accepted.
How quickly can you collect?
It depends on the job and partner availability. For urgent work, send the request and call us on 07543 933825. We’ll tell you honestly what’s possible.
Do you cover my area?
We arrange transport across mainland Great Britain. We can’t arrange jobs to or from Northern Ireland, the islands or outside the UK.
What can’t you move?
No hazardous (ADR) goods, no temperature-controlled loads, no live animals and no international work.
Which vehicle do I need?
Use the vehicle selector, or tell us the weight, number of pallets and longest item. We’ll recommend one, and the partner carrier confirms it.
Do you offer storage, fulfilment or postal services?
Yes, on request, through our vetted partners: dry storage (short or long term), order fulfilment for online sellers, and parcel and postal options. Tell us what you need and we’ll check what’s possible.
Can you supply traction only?
Yes, on request. A partner carrier can supply a tractor unit and driver to move your own trailer.
Who do I pay?
The partner carrier confirms the price, carries the job and invoices you directly.
Can I track my booking?
Yes. Enter your reference and email on the Track page to see the latest status.
Do I need an account?
No. Anyone can request a quote. Regular customers can apply for a free business account for a faster, pre-filled form.
Is my load insured?
Partner carriers hold goods-in-transit insurance, which has limits. If your goods are high value, tell us the value so the partner can confirm cover.
Can I talk to a person?
Yes. Use “Talk to a person” in the chat, email bookings@drvx.co.uk or call 07543 933825.
What if something is late, lost or damaged?
Tell the partner carrier and us straight away, in writing. Claims are handled by the carrier under its terms, which usually have short time limits. We’ll help you get in touch.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Tell us as soon as possible. Once a partner has accepted, their cancellation terms and any charges apply.
Is there waiting time?
Partners usually allow a set time to load and unload. Longer waits may be charged by the partner. Tell us about booking-in times or site rules when you request a quote.
Do you work with private customers?
At the moment we only take bookings from businesses.
Do you share my details?
Only with the partner carrier who does your job, so they can quote, carry and invoice it. See the privacy notice in our transport terms.
How do I become a partner carrier?
Apply on the partner page. We check your operator licence and goods-in-transit insurance, then sign a partner agreement before passing on any work.
